Problem
The gateway does not have a
network connection.
Problem
The landline cable may be
disconnected.
The country setting may be
incorrect.
Corrective Action
Check cabling and ensure that the
gateway is getting an IP address from
DHCP.
Corrective Action
Verify the landline cable is connected:

Check that the landline cable between
the Line port on the gateway and the
telephone wall outlet is connected
properly.
Verify the landline is operational:

Check with your landline provider.
Verify the country setting is correct:

Check that you have chosen the
country that you are in. Open the
System settings menu, select
Country selection, and then select
the country that you are in.
