<NETWORK_TFTP_SERVER>/Config/<MAC_ADDRESS>.cry
For more information on configuration parameter
NETWORK_TFTP_SERVER, refer to
To create a configuration file:
Using the configuration template, create a configuration file named
>>
<MAC>.cfg .
When creating or editing the configuration file, use a standard text editing tool (like
NotePad). XML editors, Microsoft Word, and other types of editors may leave
extended characters that are hidden. These hidden characters will cause issues
with the SoundPoint IP 200W gateway.
The configuration template can be found in distribution.zip in the
/config/template.cfg .
For example, 00087b030999.cfg is the configuration file for the SoundPoint
IP 200W phone with MAC address 00087b030999.
Most default settings are adequate, however, if SNTP settings are not
available through DHCP, the SNTP GMT offset and the SNTP server
address will need to be edited for the correct local conditions. Changing
the default daylight savings parameters will likely be necessary outside of
European locations.
(Optional) Disable the local web (HTTP) server or change its
a
signalling port if local security policy dictates.
Change the default location settings for the user interface language
b
and time and date format.
For more information, refer to
To create an encrypted configuration file:
1. Verify that <MAC>.cfg already exist in the same directory.
2. In a DOS windows or at a Unix prompt, type:
EnDecryptfiles.exe <MAC> e
The <MAC>.cry is created.
For example, for a unit with a MAC Address of 00087b030999, the
encrypted configuration file would be /Config/00087b030999.cry .
