Possible cause
If you print using the
RICOH-SCRIPT2 printer
driver, printing does not
start or is interrupted.
Solutions
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Windows 95/98/Me
Set a longer [Job timeout:] period with the [PostScript] tab of the
Printer Properties.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Windows 2000
Set a longer [Job Timeout:] period with the [Device Settings] tab
of the Printer Properties.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Windows NT 4.0
Set a longer [Job Timeout:] period with the [Device Settings] tab
of the Printer Properties.
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Macintosh
Set a longer [Job Timeout] period.
A PostScript error might occur if there is not enough memory in
the machine, or there are errors in the print data sent to the ma-
chine.
• Print the configuration page to check the amount of available
memory.
• If the memory size is full, increasing the memory may solve
this problem. If you still cannot clear the problem, contact your
sales or service representative.
The print job might be reset. Do the following.
• Confirm that you have selected the correct printer driver. Try
printing again.
• Set a longer Wait Timeout.
