4.2 SCANNER FRAME

1. Remove the platen cover (ADF).
2. Remove all parts indicated in the Exposure Glass/Operation Panel/Upper
Cover section.
3. Remove the exposure glass bracket [A] (1 screw).
4. Disconnect the platen cover sensor [B] and remove the lower rear
scanner frame [C] (6 screws).
5. Disconnect the scanner H.P. sensor [D] and remove the upper rear
scanner frame [E] (2 screws).
6. Remove the lower operation panel [F] (4 screws).
7. Remove the main switch bracket [G] (1 screw).
8. Remove the front scanner frame [H] (5 screws).
