LASER UNIT

5.2 POLYGON MIRROR MOTOR

1. Remove the front cover, inner cover, copy tray, and the front left and right
covers (see section 6.1.1)
2. Remove the main scan synchronizing detector. (see laser unit/mainscan
synchronization detection)
3. Remove the laser unit (4 screws, 2 connectors).
4. Remove the laser unit cover.
5. Remove the polygon mirror motor [A] (4 screws, 1 connector).
6. Perform the scanner and printer copy adjustments described on page 6-39.
