11.3 ADF IMAGE ADJUSTMENT

11.3.1 Registration and Blank Margin

NOTE: Make a temporary test chart as shown above using A3/DLT paper.
1. Place the temporary test chart on the ADF and make a copy from one of
the feed stations.
2. Check the registration, and adjust using the following SP modes if
necessary.
Side-to-side Registration
Leading Edge Registration (Simplex)
Trailing Edge Blank Margin

11.3.2 Sub Scan Magnification

NOTE: Make a temporary test chart as shown above using A3/DLT paper.
1. Place the temporary test chart on the ADF and make a copy from one of
the feed stations.
2. Check the registration, and adjust using SP 6-007 if necessary. The
specification is ± 1%.
