SETTING
<Measures>
• Increase spring preload.
• Increase damping force for compression.
• Increase damping force for compression, or
decrease damping force for rebound.
• Decrease spring preload.
• Decrease damping force for compression.
• Down the oil level (for front fork only).
• Check bolts, bearings, etc. as well as their
installation.
• Recheck balance.
• Check deformation (runout).
• Check the shock absorber.
(Check rod, inner tube, etc. for bending. If
bent, replace.)
• Check for any deviation from center after
tightening front wheel axle.
(Replace if deviated in any way.)
• Too much tightened bolts for front
fork outer tube ≥ Retorque the bolts to
specification (handle crown, under bracket,
steering damper stay, handlebar).
• Decrease spring preload.
• Decrease damping force (for both compres-
sion and rebound).
• Increase spring preload.
• Increase oil level (for front fork only).
• Increase damping force for compression, or
decrease damping force for rebound.
• Increase damping force (for both compres-
sion and rebound).
• Increase spring preload.
