4.1 Optional Duplexing Document Feeder (DF-605)

1. Prepare the firmware upgrade EP-
ROM.
2. Turn OFF the power and remove the
Rear Cover.

3. Insert the EP-ROM you prepared at
step 1 to the IC socket section of the
Control Board.
NOTE
• Ensure that the EP-ROM is installed
in the correct direction.
4. Turn ON the power.

5. Check the firmware update status at
the Print Lamp Display Section of the
Duplexing Document Feeder.
Updating: Green and red light up alter-
nately.
Successful completion: Blinks in green.
Failure: Blinks in red.
✽ If failure occurs, redo the procedure
from step 3.

6. After the firmware has been
upgraded successfully, turn OFF the
power and remove the EP-ROM that
was attached at step 3.
