REAR SHOCK ABSORBER

REMOVAL
1. Remove:
Bolt (shock absorber top)
Special washer
Nut (shock absorber bottom)
*Plain washer
2.
Pull out the shock absorber top, and turn
the shock absorber clockwise.
3. Remove:
Rear shock absorber
INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
Shock absorber rod
.
absorber assembly
*Shock absorber
Oil leakes Replace the shock absorber
assembly.
Spring
Fatigue Replace the shock absorber
assembly.
Move the spring up and down.
INSTALLATION
When installing the rear shock absorber, reverse
the removal procedure. Note the following
points.
1. Apply:
Lithium base grease
To the pivot points.
Replace the shock
