*Transmission and shifter operation
Unsmooth operation
NOTE:
Oil each gear and bearingthoroughly.
6. Install:
*Crankshaft with cam chains
Balancer shaft
NOTE:
Align the mark
with the mark on the crankshaft gear.
UPPER CRANKCASE
1. Install:
Plane bearings
NOTE:
Identify each plane bearing positionvery carefuly
so that it can be reinstalled in i t s original place.
2.
Install:
Piston rings
Be sure to install rings so that Manufacturer's
marks or numbers are located on the top side of
the rings.
3. Oil liberally:
Pistons
Rings
Cylinders
4. Set:
Piston ring ends
Make sure the ends of the oil ring expanders do
not
overlap.
