FRONT WHEEL
Eye protection is recommended when using
striking tools.
the new bearing by reversing the
previous steps.
NOTE:
Use a socket that matches the outside diameter
of the race of the bearing.
Do not strike the center race or balls of the
bearing. Contact should be made only with the
outer race.
7. I nspect
:
Brake disc
specified limit
Maximum Deflection
(Front and Rear)
0.15 mm (0.006 in)
Minimum Disc Thickness
(Front and Rear):
7.0
mm (0.28 in)
INSTALLAT ION
When installing the front wheel, reverse the
removal procedure. Note the following points.
1. Apply:
Lithium base grease
Lightly grease to the oil seal and gear unit.
2. Install:
Gear unit assembly
NOTE:
Be sure that the two projections inside the
wheel hub mesh with the two slots in the gear
unit assembly.
Replace.
