2. I nspect :
F r o n t axle
Bends Replace.
Roll the axle on a f l a t surface.
Do
attempt to straighten a dent axle.

Wheel
4. Measure:
Wheel
Over specified limit
R i m Limits:
Radial 2.0 mm (0.08 in)
Lateral 2.0 mm (0.08 in)
5. Check:
Wheel balance
O u t of balance Adjust.
Balance wheels with the brake discs installed.
Be sure t h e valve stem locknut i s tightened
securely after repairing or replacing a tire and/or
wheel.
Ride conservatively after installing a tire to allow
the tire to seat itself correctly on the rim.
6. Inspect:
Wheel bearings
Bearings allow play in the wheel hub or
wheel turns roughly
By the following replacement steps.
the outside o f the wheel hub.
Drive o u t the bearing.
Replace.
Repalce.
