PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR

Primary driven gear is composed as shown.
① Primary driven gear
② Damper
③ Plate
If the internal damper wears, play is generated
between gear and housing, causing abnormal noise.
If the play is extreme, replace the primary driven
gear assembly a new one.
CAM CHAIN 20-PITCH LENGTH
Pull the chain tight to remove any slack, then using
vernier caliper, measure the 20-pitch (21 pins)
length of cam chain. If it measures than the limits,
replace the cam chain.
