CALIPER REASSEMBLY
Reassemble and remount the caliper in the reverse
orders of disassembly and removal, and also carry
out the following steps.
CAUTION
Wash the caliper components with fresh brake
fluid before reassembly. Never use cleaning sol-
vent or gasoline to wash them. Apply brake fluid
to the caliper bore and all internal parts before
inserting into the bore.
● Apply the silicone grease to the caliper holder.
Silicone grease.
TIGHTENING TORQUE

Bleed the air from brake fluid circuit after
reassembling the caliper. (See page 2-12)
MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL
AND DISASSEMBLY
● Please a cloth underneath the union bolt on the
master cylinder to prevent, spilled drops of the
brake fluid. Unscrew the union bolts and discon-
nect the brake hose from the master cylinder joint.
CAUTION
Immediately and completely wipe off any brake
fluid contacting any part of the motorcycle. The
fluid reacts chemically with paint, plastics, rubber
materials, etc., and will damage them severely.
