Playing Backup Files on PC

NOTE: For information on playing backup files on Mac, visit
LorexHD Player is used to playback backup video files on a PC. It is saved automatically to
the USB thumb drive (not included) or external hard drive (not included) when backup files
are created. It is also installed automatically when you install the Client Software for PC
from the CD or from www.lorextechnology.com.
NOTE: When installed with the Client Software, LorexHD Player is saved to the Start Menu or
Start Screen.
To access the Backup Player software:
1 Connect the USB thumb drive or external hard drive to your computer.
2 Open the drive in Windows Explorer. Right-click LorexHD Player and select Run as
Administrator to open LorexHD Player.
3 Click File and select Open Folder to open a backup file.
Click File and select
Open Folder
4 Select the folder with the backup file and click Ok.
