If "0～9" is allocated at the menu, limitation can be set to read only when allocated numeric
characters matchs to the first and second numeric characters of EAN-13/UPC-A. It can read
umlimitedly when "?" is allocated.

Use the cursor keys ([▲] [▼]) or numerical keys ([1] [2]) to select the item to be set.

Use the cursor keys ([◄] [►]) to select settings value.
4.
Press the ENT key or BS/C key for the settings value to be valid and then return to the SET
MULTI-LINE screen.

Select "EAN-8" at SET MULTI-LINE menu and then press the ENT
key.
SET MULTI-LINE [EAN-8] screen displays.
"1：1ST CHARACTER"：
