7.4 Windows Internet Name Service (WINS/DHCP)

7.4.1 Using WINS with Your Print Server

To use WINS with your Print Server, enter the IP address of the WINS Server on the
TCP/IP configuration screen. You can access this screen with a Web browser or MAP
utility (refer to Chapter 3, Monitoring the Network Interface Board).

7.4.2 Configuring the WINS Server

You can configure your DHCP Server to automatically provide WINS Server information
to the print server, or you can use the print server's TCP/IP Configuration Menu to
manually enter the necessary information. Refer to your DHCP Server's documentation
for further information on automatic configuration through the DHCP Server.
To manually configure your print server to work with the WINS server:
1. Assign an IP address to the print server.
