Personal Folders
The Personal Preferences open with the Personal Folders tab selected. The Personal
Folders tab allows you to change the storage location for your personal files on your PC or
on the network. Most personal files are located in your My FaxPress folder.
If multiple users need to access a set of shared favorite documents or files, store those
folders on a network drive accessible by those users and change the paths of the folders
to point to the shared directories.
To specify a new location for a folder, click on the Browse button associated with a par-
ticular folder. Then browse to a new location in the list box and click OK. All new entries
for that personal folder type will be written there. The original folder remains in its original
location, and contains any data accumulated up to the time of the location change.
Spool Folder— This is the temporary storage directory that FaxPress usages for spooling
and retrieving faxes. The default location for these files is: C:\FaxPress.spl.
