    The FaxPress server requires the same kind of standard antivirus protection and security measures used with the other servers on your network. Captaris strongly recommends that all data files be scanned for possible viruses before being sent to FaxPress for file conversion and fax transmission.

    The default FaxPress name is the serial number displayed in the LCD window on the front of the unit. You may decide to give the FaxPress a name rather than using the default serial number to more easily identify the FaxPress on the network.

    FaxPress client software in a Windows Terminal Server environment requires you to install just one copy of the FaxPress client for Windows Terminal Server on the Terminal Server itself. The FaxPress client features then become accessible to all users on the network.
