Installing an
Expansion Board
Installing a PCI or
ISA Board
The Compaq Deskpro 2000 Minitower Personal Computer
contains five expansion slots, which are located on the
expansion board. These consist of:
1 Two PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) expansion
slots (slots 1 and 2)
2 One PCI/ISA (Industry Standard Architecture) shared
expansion slot (Slot 3)
3 Two ISA expansion slots (slots 4 and 5)
Five Expansion Slots in the Expansion Board
To install a PCI or an ISA expansion board, complete the
following steps:
1. Locate the correct vacant slot in the expansion board.
2. Remove the screw from the expansion slot cover, then
remove the expansion slot cover.
