Selection of Control Mode

*1. "2nd-motor control [SET]" target parameter. The second control parameter is also subject to setting.
*2. Automatic energy-saving operation and multi motor drive will be unavailable while using the automatic torque
boost function. In addition, motor constant settings or auto-tuning are required.
*3. This does not function when "2nd-motor control [SET]" is on. This function is only available when using the 1st
motor control mode.
 When using sensorless vector control and automatic torque boost, be sure to set the motor

constant for your motor. For details, refer to "8.1.5 Setting Motor Constant" or "8.3 Carrying Out
Motor Auto-tuning ".
 When multiple induction motors (IM) are driven by a single inverter, use V/f control.
 In V/f control, an external encoder provides feedback on the actual motor speed, allowing for
highly accurate and stable speed control. For details, refer to "9.5.5 Motor Operation with V/f
Control with Encoder".
