Externally Tripping the Inverter

 How to force the inverter to shut off output or output an alarm in case of a system error, etc.?
Q
 External trip function assigns the "External fault [EXT]" to an input terminal and turns on that
A
terminal to generate "External trip error [E12]".
 Use this function when it is necessary to trip the inverter because of an error (trip) signal
generated by a peripheral system, etc.
 When "External trip error [E12]" occurs, the trip cannot be released even when the "External fault
!
[EXT]" terminal is turned off. Reset the system or turn the power off and back on to release the
trip.
 When the system is reset while [EXT] is still on, [E12] occurs again.
 Restart after reset is determined depending on the setting of "Restart mode after RS release
[C103]". For details, refer to "9.7.5 Starting after Trip Reset or Power-on".
 [E12] occurs when [EXT] is turned on despite the inverter output being stopped.
