Execute Auto-tuning
 When RUN command according to the setting of "RUN command input source selection
[A002]" is "ON", automatic operation starts as follows. Auto-tuning can be cancelled when
RUN command is "OFF". However, tuning data are not stored.
 If abnormal termination or trip occurs during auto-tuning, remove the cause of the error by
referring to "Countermeasure when auto-tuning fails halfway" on the next page.
(1) 1st AC excitation (The motor does not rotate.)
(2) 2nd AC excitation (The motor does not rotate.)
(3) 1st DC excitation (The motor does not rotate.)
(4) V/f control operation (The motor rotates up to 80% of the base frequency.)
(5) Sensorless vector control operation (The motor rotates to the X%
frequency.)
(6) 2nd DC excitation (The motor does not rotate.)
(7) Displays the tuning result.
*1. (4) and (5) are not executed when "Without rotation".
*2. The rotation speed in (5) is as shown below, assuming that T is the larger of the
acceleration time and deceleration time in (4).
*3. The tuning result is displayed as shown below.
If the tuning ends abnormally, perform auto-tuning again.
Press STOP/RESET key to cancel the display.

Setting after auto-tuning
 After normal completion, set "Async. Motor constant selection, 1st-motor [H002]" to "Auto-
tuning data (02)". The auto-tuning motor constants [H030] to [H034] are enabled. (Tuning
data will not be applied unless set.)
 When auto-tuning is performed without rotating the motor, the motor constant I0 (no-load
current) and motor constant J (moment of inertia) are not measured. Set as follows.
 After completion of auto-tuning, "Auto-tuning selection [H001]" automatically returns to
"Disable (00)" regardless of normal completion/abnormal termination. To execute auto-
tuning again, set again.
- No-load current I0: Set the "Control mode selection, 1st-motor [A044]" as "V/f Constant
- Moment of inertia J: Calculate the moment of inertia of the load in terms of the motor
