GENERAL

This section covers removal
and
installation of
the
body panels and exhaust system.

Wl't"n disassembling,
mark and store
the
mounting fasteners to ensure that
th-ey
are
reinstalled
in
their original locations.

When installing
the
covers, make sure
the
mating areas are
aligned
properly before tightening the fasteners.

replace the gaskets
with
new ones after removing the exhaust system.

When
installing the exhaust system, Ioosely install all of the fasteners. Always tighten
them
in
the
sequence of
the
exhaust pipe
joint
nuts, band bolts
and
mounting
nut.

Always
inspect the
exhaust
system for leaks
after
installation.

Do
not
loosen
the white
painted fasteners
on the seat
rail assembly
to
disassemble
it
(except
the
seat adjusting plates).

replacement is necessary,
be
sure
to
replace as an assembly.
