Check
for
continuity
between
the wire harness
side
ECM 33P (Black) connector
[1]
and fan motor relay
5P
connector [2] terminals.

Test probe

CONNECTION: Gray/blue

Gray/blue
There should be continuity.
lf
there is
no
continuity, check
for an open circuit
in the
Gray/blue
wire between the fan motor relay
and
ECM.
Check
for
continuity between
the fan motor relay
5P
connector
terminal
and ground.
CONNECTION: Gray/blue
-
Ground
There should be no continuity.
lf
there is continuity, check for a short circuit in
the Gray/
blue
wire
between the
fan motor relay
and
ECM.
lf all of above inspections are normal, check for an open
circuit
in the
Black/blue
wire
between
the
fan
motor
relay and fan motor.
