FORK
Keep the
master
cylinder
reseNoir
on the
handlebar
upright to Prevent
air from entering the
hydraulic sysfem.
REMOVAL
Remove the front
fender
(page 2-10)'
Remove
the
bolt caps [1] and
the
handlebar bolts [2]'
Release the throttle cables
[3]
from the
guides
[4]
Remove the
top
bridge pinch bolt [5] and guide'
When the fork is ready
to
be
disassembled,
Ioosen the
fork cap
[6], but do not remove
it
Support the
fork leg [1] securelY.
Loosen the bottom bridge pinch bolt [2] and pull the fork
leg down, then remove it
out of the handlebar' and top
and
bottom bridges.
INSTALLATION
Mark
the fork tube at the specified
height
from the
fork
tube
end,
using a marker.
lnsert the
fork
leg [1] into
the
bottom and top bridges so
the fork tuOe height
from
the top bridge
is
specified
value
(at the
mark), then
temporarily tighien the bottom
bridge pinch
bolt.
