3. A drop down menu can be used for method selection
options
4. Some methods require input from the DPI 620 instrument
channels. A drop down menu displays the channels as
follows:
• CH1
• CH2
• P1
• P2
• IDOS
5. On completion the procedure will return to the HART®
application. If required use the Abort button

Method Example - Self-test

1. To confirm that the transmitter is functioning
correctly, navigate to the Test device folder
2. Select the Test device folder
3. Select OK
The self-test executes
