Description
The dwell time is the length of time a radio uses before it "hops" to
another frequency. Choose a time between 1 and 390 (TUs).
With frequency hopping, a radio transmits and receives on one
frequency for a short period of time and then pseudo-randomly
moves to another frequency every dwell time. This technology
reduces susceptibility to interference from other transmitters and
noise sources in the same 2.4 GHz range since transmission is
constantly shifting from one frequency to the next. Check the
Auto-negotiation parameter or set the Pattern to select the
desired hop sequence.
(Not applicable for the BayStack 660).
Select the BSS Rate supported by the access point: Supported
(2.0) or Basic (1).
Select the Translation mode for the device: 802.1h+NTI STT

Opens the Expert dialog box. Go to
page 4-13
for instructions on setting the expert parameters. A
warning message is displayed before the dialog box opens. Read
the message and click Yes to continue.
