Adding a New IP Address

After the software is loaded and power is applied to the BayStack 660 Access
Point, your system may ask you to assign an IP address to an access point. If you
have a DHCP server, the IP address may be assigned from there. However, The
BayStack AP Manager includes two ways to assign an IP address for the access
point. The following section describes these methods.

Using the BOOTP Request Dialog Box to Set the IP Address

If there is no DHCP server, an IP request dialog box
you to enter an IP address. This happens whenever a new access point is added to
the subnet
