Using the BayStack 660 Wireless LAN Access Point
If necessary, connect your access point and the workstation running the

AP Manager to a stand alone Ethernet hub (10BaseT) and retry.
If necessary, modify the TCP/IP settings of the laptop by trial and error

Infrastructure Network Problems

If the LEDs on both the access point and the PC Card installed in it indicate a
wireless link, but network connectivity is still not established, do the following:
Check to make sure that the Windows network configuration for the

laptop is correct. To do so:

If changes were made, restart the laptop

Open Start > Run and enter:

WINIPCFG.EXE
Make sure that the device has an appropriate IP address and subnet mask for
the segment that it is trying to connect. If another adapter on the laptop is
configured for the IP, remove it or release its address.

Open the Control Panel and double-click Network.
Click the "BayStack 650/660 Wireless LAN in 802.11 Mode" adapter.
Click Properties.
Make sure that the device has the correct SSID.
Make sure that the device is in the Infrastructure Mode.
Open the Control Panel > Network, and check that the correct
protocols are bound to the "BayStack 650/660 Wireless LAN in
802.11 Mode" adapter and are properly configured.
Open the Control Panel > Network > Identification tab.
Check that the Windows Domain information is correct.
