Fault Codes - GBC AdvancedPunch

Fault codes for the GBC AdvancedPunch are displayed on the press User Interface /
Control Panel as an AdvancedPunch fault code.
Fault Code Cause
040-100 Jam is detected in the Advanced-
040-101 Punch.
040-900
040-901
040-300 Front door of the Advanced-
Punch is not closed.
040-940 The punch die set is missing or
not fully installed.
040-941 Punch container is missing or
not fully installed.
040-942 Punch container is full.

Press Problem Solving
Recommended Solution
1. Ensure all jams are cleared.
2. Ensure all handles / levers
are returned to closed pos-
ition.
3. Power Off / On the press.
4. If error persists, contact
the Customer Support
Center.
1. Open the Module front
door.
2. Remove all sheets or
pieces from the jam clear-
ance areas.
3. Close the front door.
4. Verify that the paper be-
ing used is within specifica-
tions.
Remedy
1. Open AdvancedPunch front door
and look for a paper jam.
2. Remove any paper jam.
3. Close front door.
Close front door of the AdvancedPunch.
Install punch die set or fully insert it; close
front door.
Install and / or fully insert punch container;
close front door.
Empty punch container and then reinstall
it.
