Creating and Saving a Stored Program to Use with Build Job

Use the Store Build Job option to create and save a stored program that can be used
with a complex Build Job function.
• Build Job programs segments of the job as if they were ordinary, independent jobs,
and then prints all the segments as one complete job.
• Store Build Job allows you to program, scan, and store individual job segments of a
large or complex job, and recall the stored program at point of need when using Build
Job.
• Therefore, while Build Job is running, a stored program can be used for the remaining
document stacks, which then negates the need to program and select the options
for the remaining documents stacks in the Build Job process.
Note
For the purpose of this procedure, an example Copy job will be created and stored.
1. Press the Machine Status button on the press UI.
2. Select the Tools tab.
3. Select Setup & Calibration > Setup > Stored Programming.
4. Select Store Build Job.
5. Select a Stored Programming item from the numbered list.
If required, select the up and down arrows to display the previous or next screen.
Note
Once a job is stored to a button (item), it cannot be overwritten.
