19) Check the anode metal for corrosion. Replace the anode
metal with a new one if it is corroded excessively.
20) Set the 116 mm lead wire between the projections on the
anode metal as shown, and install the anode metal by
tightening the two 6 x 23 mm flange bolts.
21) Set the 116 mm lead wire as shown, and tighten the 6 x 8
mm screw securely.
22) Tighten the new 7/8-14 UNF self-locking nut to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 40 N . m (4.1 kgf . m, 30 lbf . ft) - 180
23) Apply rust-preventive agent to the threads on the tilting
shaft, and install the tilting bolt cap.
24) Tighten the new 10 mm self-locking nut to the specified
torque (P. 13-35).
TORQUE: 35 N . m (3.6 kgf . m, 26 lbf . ft)
Install the following parts.
- Mount case (P. 13-5)
- Engine under case (P. 12-4)
- Engine assembly (P. 6-9)
