ZigBee® and Wi-Fi Channel Information
Use the following information to help decide which ZigBee
Note on the diagram below that ZigBee channels 15 and 20 fit perfectly between the commonly used
Wi-Fi channels 1, 6, and 11. Other ZigBee channels are also shown and their relation to Wi-Fi channels
1, 6, and 11. Also note that ZigBee channel 25 is outside of any possible Wi-Fi interference.
Note: Tracer TU now has two tools to help identify channels that may have excessive traffic. Please see
Figure 44. Zigbee and Wi-Fi channels alignment

Air-Fi networks will automatically form on a channel according to their WCI NET rotary switch as show in
the table below:
Other Zigbee channels not listed in table above can be selected using Tracer TU (Wireless tab >
Advanced). See Tracer TU Help "Changing the Channel of a Wireless Network" for more information on
how to accomplish this.

Replacing a Failed WCI

Complete the following tasks to replace a failed WCI.
