cated by the text "semi-universal" on the

Notes on the suitability of seats for attach‐
ing belt-secured child restraint systems
Observe the following information:
When using a baby car seat of the cate‐
R
gory 0/0+ and a rearward-facing child
restraint system on a rear seat: adjust the
driver's and front passenger seat such that
the seat does not touch the child restraint
system.
For certain child restraint systems in weight
R
categories II or III, there may be certain
restrictions in the maximum size setting, e.g.
due to possible contact with the roof.
Make sure that the child's feet do not touch
R
the front seat. If necessary, move the front
seat forward slightly.
The child restraint system must not touch the
R
roof or be put under strain by the head
restraints. Adjust the head restraints accord‐
ingly.
When opening or closing the soft top, the
R
child restraint systems in weight categories II
or III must be removed or the head restraints
of the child restraint systems must be moved
to the lowest position.
Observe the manufacturer's installation
R
instructions for the child restraint system.
