If all indicator lamps are off, the seat ventila‐
tion is switched off.

If you switch the power supply off and on
again within 20 minutes, the previous setting
of the seat ventilation for the driver's seat
remains active.
Switching AIRSCARF on/off

heating output from AIRSCARF being too

When AIRSCARF is switched on, very hot air
can flow from the outlet opening in the head
restraints.
This could result in burns in the immediate
vicinity of the outlet opening.
Turn the heating output down in good

The power supply is switched on.

AIRSCARF warms the head and neck area of
vehicle occupants with warm air. The warm air
flows out of the vents in the head restraints.

indicator lamps light up.

When switching on, the blower starts up only
after a preheating phase which lasts a few
seconds.
After switching off, the blower runs on for a
few seconds to cool down the heating ele‐
ments.

If the vehicle battery voltage is too low, AIR‐
SCARF may switch off.

intake grille on the back of the head restraint.
