You can stop the vehicle and change the
transmission position during the parking pro‐
cedure. The system then calculates a new
vehicle path. The parking procedure can
then be continued. If no new vehicle path is
available, the transmission position will be
changed again. If the vehicle has not yet
reached the parking space, the parking pro‐
cedure will be cancelled, should a gear be
changed.
Exiting a parking space with Active Parking
Assist
Requirements:
You can only exit a parking space with Active
Parking Assist if you have previously parked the
vehicle with Active Parking Assist.
