Adjusting the AIRSCARF vents
& WARNING Risk of burns caused by the
heating output from AIRSCARF being too
high
When AIRSCARF is switched on, very hot air
can flow from the outlet opening in the head
restraints.
This could result in burns in the immediate
vicinity of the outlet opening.
Turn the heating output down in good
#
time.
Maintain a suitable distance from the
#
outlet opening.
* NOTE Damage caused to AIRSCARF by
the use of protective covers
If a protective cover is placed over the front
seat head restraints, the flow of air from the
AIRSCARF vent is hindered.
This can cause AIRSCARF to overheat and be
damaged.
Do not use protective covers on head
#
restraints with AIRSCARF.
Make sure that there are no objects covering the
intake grille on the back of the head restraint.
Make sure that objects do not enter the vents in
the head restraints.
You can adjust the blower output of AIR‐
#
SCARF vents

using the AIRSCARF button

page 101).
Adjust the height of AIRSCARF vents

the current of air by adjusting the height of
the head restraint (
