Description
Specify what causes an image to be saved.

In "Scan" mode (or program sequence) and when
"Cause = Read NOK (all)", images that have already
been saved with this cause are removed from the di‐
agnostics buffer if successful processing takes place
within the series.
Note
Note that when diagnostics transfer is activated, diag‐
nostic images may already be transferred or prepared
for transfer before successful processing takes place.
These images are then transferred completely.

If one or more of the causes selected above occurs,
the current image is saved.

Not only the current image but also the previous
and the next image are saved.
Defines the number of images that are to be buffered
in the diagnostics memory.
Note that you can increase the buffer size available for
the diagnostics transfer ("Settings" → "Communica‐
tion" → "Use" → "Diagnostics transfer") by reducing the
size of this buffer.
Type of buffer:
•
Ring: When the buffer contains 15000 entries, en‐
tries 1, 2, ... are overwritten.
•
Stack: When the buffer contains 15000 entries, no
further entries are made.
The command "Write match string" or "Write string
trigger synchronized" outputs received frames to the
diagnostic report.
