MAC Filter

MAC Filtering refers to an access control methodology whereby the 48-bit address assigned to each LAN host NIC is used to determ-
ine access to the network. It is also known as Layer 2 address filtering.
On this page, you can configure the filter settings.
1. In the left navigation bar, click
2. Select the SSID to which this MAC filter rule should apply.

MAC Restrict Mode
Disabled: MAC filtering is off.

Allow: Access for the specified MAC address is permitted. You must add at least one MAC address.

Deny: Access for the specified MAC address is rejected.
l
4. To add a MAC address to the filter list:
a. Click Add. The following page appears.
b. Enter the MAC address.
c. Click Apply/Save.
You are returned to the main MAC filtering page.
