1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Wiring procedure
Description
Install a servo amplifier.
Connect the power circuit.
Connect I/O signals.
Connect the servo amplifier to a servo motor.
If using a linear servo motor, connect the servo amplifier to a linear encoder.
If using the servo amplifier in a fully closed loop system, connect the servo
amplifier to a linear encoder or a rotary encoder.
Connect options.
If using the absolute position detection system and the STO function, perform
wiring and settings as necessary.
Check that the servo amplifier and the servo motor are wired correctly by
visually inspecting them or by using a method such as the DO forced output
function.
Check the environment surrounding the servo amplifier and servo motor.
