Exterior Equipment
- Slacken two spring holders from the tailgate.
- Unplug connector from additional brake light
and spray nozzle hose and remove spoiler.
Note:
Do not damage the painted surfaces.
Installing
- Clean the seating area for the spoiler and
the tailgate with cleaning solution HHA 381
011 while observing the instructions issued
by the glue manufacturer.
K - Apply glue -1- all around the spoiler while
observing the instructions issued by the
manufacturer.
- Connect spray nozzle hose and connector
of additional brake light.
- Fit spoiler onto the tailgate according to the
spring holders (4.7 ± 1 mm from the edge of
the tailgate to the spoiler tailgate).
The dimension 4.7 ± 1mm must be just as large
on the left as on the right side of the tailgate.

- Secure the correct location of the spoiler us-
ing adhesive tape.
- Remove any dirt present using a cleaner.
- Remove centre trim panel of tailgate ⇒ page
70-12.2.
Notes:
The glue sealing mass must dry for 24 hours.
Do not drive the vehicle in this time.
Do not drive into the carwash within 24 hours
of gluing on the spoiler.
