Adjusting door
The door hinge has to be slackened at the pillar
and at the door in order to correctly align the
door. Other measures such as aligning the doors
upward, are of no effect. The door drops down
again when pressure is subsequently applied.
- Slacken torx screw until door can be moved
(e.g. with V.A.G 3320 with torx bit T45).
l The doors are correctly adjusted if they have
an even distance to the door opening all
round when closed, do not stand too far in
or out and the contours are aligned.

Removing door window

Remove door trim panel ⇒ page 70-4.

Detach insulation sheeting ⇒ page 70-6.

- Pull inner window slot seal off the flange.
- Open or close the door window sufficiently
until the clamping jaws are positioned in the
assembly openings.
K - Slacken hexagon nuts -1- and press clamp-
ing jaws apart.
- Pull door window up, tilt it forward and lift it
out of the window slot.
