Removing and installing door lock

Removing
Door window should be closed.
Remove door handle ⇒ page 58-6.

Remove door trim panel ⇒ page 70-5.
-
Detach insulating sheeting ⇒ page 70-6.

K - Push through expanding pin -1- of the
fulcrum lever, take fulcrum lever -2- off the
door and detach locking rod.
- Detach clips -3- for attaching the locking rod.
- It is essential to remove the expanding pin
from the door (rattling noises).
K - Take out screws -2-.
- Pull door lock -1- out of the assembly open-
ing.
Tightening torque = 8 Nm.
