Sliding/Tilting Roof
Installing glass panel for sliding/tilt-
ing roof
The glass panel should be installed in 0 posi-
tion (glass panel closed).
- Check parallel running and adjust if neces-
sary ⇒ page 60-6.
K - Insert glass panel for sliding/tilting roof from
above and insert the securing screws -1-.
When doing this, ensure the centering pins
-2- are correctly located on the rear of the
clamping plates.
Tightening torque: 6 Nm
Note:
Tighten securing screws after adjusting height
of glass panel (6 Nm).
Carry out height adjustment ⇒ page 60-4.

- Check installation of glass panel seal, ad-
just if necessary ⇒ page 60-5.
- Push trim frame forward and clip into front
guide.
- Check that sliding/tilting roof operates prop-
erly.
Adjusting glass panel for sliding/tilt-
ing roof (height adjustment)
- Move glass panel into tilt function.
- Push back sun protection fully.
- Push trim frame to the rear (clipped on in
area of the front guides and guided in the
rear area by studs).
- Check parallel running and adjust if neces-
sary ⇒ page 60-6.
- Slacken all four screws of the glass panel
(floating centering in roof opening).
- Move glass panel into „closed" position.
- Carry out height adjustment of glass panel
at front and rear on both sides as follows:
