Cleaning water drain hoses

Front water drain hoses:
The front water drain hoses -1- run in the A pil-
lars and end between door and A pillar. They
are cleaned from the opening in the sliding/tilt-
ing roof.

2 - Water drain valve
Note:
It is recommended to shop-make a tool for clean-
ing the hoses - a probe, about 2300 mm long,
made from the core of a speedometer drive
shaft.
Rear water drain hoses:
The rear water drain hoses -1- run in the C pil-
lars and end at the side behind the bumper
cover. They are cleaned from the bottom end of
the hose. The hoses can remain installed for
cleaning.

Note:

ing the hoses - a probe, about 2300 mm long,
