Sliding/tilting roof
Installing
- Insert assembly unit -1- into the roof.
- Align assembly unit -1- and screw into the
roof frame.
- Check and if necessary ensure proper rout-
ing of cables and plug connections of all elec-
trical components at the roof.
- Screw -2- assembly unit -1- and drive -3- tight
(8 Nm).
- Install water drain hoses -arrows-.
- Install plug connection for E-drive.
Adapting the E-drive
- Switch on ignition.
For vehicles MY 03
K - Remove the E-drive cover using the wedge
3409.
- Pull out the plug for the E-drive at the roof
opening.
- Connect plug connection for E-drive.
- Insert E-drive cover.
For all vehicles
- Close sliding/tilting roof.
- Activate the automatic preselection mecha-
nism for at least 3 seconds in position „roof
closed", the basic setting of the drive is com-
pleted.
