Replacing lock carrier

Note:
The coolant circuit of the engine and the refrig-
erant circuit do not need to be separated pro-
vided the radiator and condenser are attached
to the engine in a suitable manner.
Removing
K - Remove bumper ⇒ page 63-1.
- Remove cross member ⇒ page 63-1.
- Remove headlights
⇒ Electrical System; Repair Group 94.
- Separate plug connection and release cable
for bonnet lock.
- Take out bolts -3- for lock carrier -1-.
- Slacken top screws -2-.
K - Remove screws -1- for radiator mountings
-3- and attach radiator -4- in a suitable way
to the engine.
- Remove screws at top attaching lock car-
rier.
- Pull off lock carrier -2- to the front.
- Remove the remaining attached parts of the
lock carrier.
Installing
- Installation is performed in the reverse or-
der.
