Solenoid Valve Coil Replacement

1. Park machine on a level surface, engage parking
brake, lower the cutting units and turn engine OFF.
2. Disconnect solenoid electrical connector.
3. Remove nut from solenoid.
4. Remove solenoid coil.
5. Install new solenoid coil and secure with nut. Apply
"Locktite 242" or equivalent to threads on end of stem
tube before installing nut. Tighten nut to a torque of
15 in-lb. Over-tightening may damage the solenoid or
cause the solenoid valve to malfunction.
6. Connect electrical wiring connector.
