5.2.1 Start key
The machine is fitted with an electrical safety system. If the locking levers are not in safety
• Use this command to start and stop the engine.
OFF position = shutdown
ON position = operation
START position = startup

IMPORTANT

Turn the key to OFF position to switch off the
engine and disconnect the electrical circuit.
Turn the key to the ON position to turn on the
power circuit and the charging circuit. Keep
the key in this position while the engine is
running.
Turn the key to START position to start the
engine. Release the key after the engine starts
and it will return itself to ON position.
• ON : The headlights come on.
• OFF : The headlights switch off.
Do not leave the headlights switched on when
the engine is not running. The battery will dis-
charge and the engine will be unable to start.
Push in the button. It rises automatically when the re-
sistance is hot.
If the cigar lighter does not rise after 20 seconds,
